Summary
In 1934, Sergei Kirov, former Leningrad Party chief, Politburo member, and prize orator of the Stalin regime was murdered. He was supposedly killed by a lone gunman. His murder sparked the purges characterizing the Stalin regime. This book details the speculation of who committed the murder, why, and what were the consequences to the future of Russia as a totalitarian police state
