In 1965, the politician and activist Martin Luther King Jr. led the historic march in a peaceful protest from the city of Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, considered one of the main and most important causes of the equality movement of the civil rights of African-American citizens; which leads President Johnson to sign the law on the right to vote that same year
