- Summary
- Vincent Bugliosi's books about the Kennedy assassination, Reclaiming history, was scheduled to be made into a miniseries. DiEugenio details the problems with Bugliosi's book, explores the cooperation of the mainstream press in concealing these many faults, and how the film eventually adapted from that book-- Parkland-- displays the same imbalance that the book does. He examines the connections between Washington and Hollywood, as well as the CIA influence in the film colony today. In this revised edition, DiEugenio includes a discussion of the motion picture The Post and its representation of the Pentagon papers saga
