Tracy Daszkiewicz, a local council public health official, found herself thrust into the center of the storm as she coordinated lockdown and decontamination efforts amidst uncertainty and increasing public panic. Through the extraordinary heroism of the local community, and not without tragedy, the city of Salisbury pulled together and persevered."--
