Runtime

Summary

After the death of his father, Sonny's mother remarried. His new Stepfather Jerome is abusive and shows heavy favoritism to the couples biological son Joshua. However Sonny is hardly the model child as he gets involved in the street life and drugs. Sonny is constantly blamed and beaten for his step brother's sins. Papa Wille, the boys' wise and at times hilarious Grandfather protests the unfair treatment and leaves with Joshua. He begins to fight or custody of the boy. The mother remains complacent and allows the treatment to preserve her marriage. After an unknown $500,000 insurance policy surfaces from Sonny's deceased father, a scandal involving the stepfather and son unfolds. The family is torn apart. Can God put them back together and restore a loving, blended family?
