A charter boat captain and his first mate uncover a buried treasure off the rocky shores of an isolated Northern California town from a ship that sank 100 years ago. They are not aware of the ship's horrible history and awaken the spirits of the dead. Exactly one hundred years ago, a ship of lepers seeking refuge was betrayed by the town's founding fathers and burned. On this night, the ghosts of the long-dead mariners have returned from their watery graves to seek their revenge. Shrouded within a supernatural fog, the ghosts trap the residents of the remote community, intent on seeking out the descendants of those who founded the town.
